Is it in the BIBLE??????

IN view of the fact that some Catholics go outside the church to pick up whatever doctrines they find in other religious bodies, most often to their own detriment, it is important that we point out to them the danger of shopping around for diluted doctrines.

Let us consider some questions which reflect some of the beliefs of some of those religious groups

QUESTIONS
(1) Can one claim to be saved while still living in the flesh?

(2) is the bible against Virgin Mary?

(3) Are visions, revelations, signs and wonders, proof that a religious sect. has the truth?

(4) Does the bible support the view that every unbaptized person is an enemy of God and therefore will not be saved?

We shall examine these questions because so many errors arise from their discussion. Here,I will only deal with some of the preliminary issues and touch on some essential points in them, reserving a detailed discussion of each of them to its appropriate section.

The danger of false doctrine is pointed out by Plato in his Protagoras. Protagoras is a dialogue in which Plato, the wise, points out the great danger of allowing people to fill our minds and our tongues with poisonous doctrines.

In the dialogue, Socrates tell Hippocrates that there is a difference between buying an edible thing and buying people's opinions. When you buy an edible thin, you carry it home and get those who know something about nutrition to examine it to see if it is good for consumption, but this is not the case with doctrines. When one goes to buy a doctrine from any teacher, one carries it home in one soul (insyd oneself) and if the doctrine is a bad one,the buyer is already infected with something dangerous....
