Why do you feel bad and unhappy when friends who trust leave you? Are you in the category of those who get so bothered and frustrated because you were disappointed? Listen to this understanding that blessed my life.
Not all friends are sent your way to stay with you. Some are sent to be long time friends while others are not. Friends are in three categories : CONFIDANTS, CONSTITUENTS and COMRADES.
Your confidants are those who you must trust. You are free to express yourself before them. Even when others mock you or make you feel dejected, they still stay with you. Jesus had his three confidants. You must have some few friends like this.
You constituents are those who just come your way to life you up after they have done this, they leave you. You might cry and feel so terrible but they are not to stay with you forever. Like a bamboo stick attached to a building under construction is removed when the building is raised, that just what they are.
Your comrades only become your friends because their enemies are fighting against you. They feel being friendly to you will make them have the victory.
Go with this understanding and you will be happy in your life.
