Prayer for the Success of 2017 Abeokuta Diocesan CYON Convention.
Almighty and ever living God, we the young people of Abeokuta Diocese come to YOU and entrust ourselves to your Fatherly care, love and protection as we converge for our Biennial Convention.
We come to YOU, the source and summit of everything good and noble to help us achieve a huge success in this year's convention.
We know that without YOU we cannot do anything good for if you O Lord does not build the house, in vain do the builders labour.
We entreat YOU to grant us your protection, safety and journey mercies as we travel from the four corners of our Diocese to and fro the venue of our Convention.
Grant us fair and clement weather to enable us have all our programmes and activities successfully.
Be the Alpha and Omega of all our programmes and activities. Inspire all our resource persons to impact life changing messages and lessons on us all. Open our ears and hearts to learn and gain maximally and put into practice what we have learnt for the betterment of our lives, the Church and our society.
May our mother Mary, the mother of all young people whom we specially honour in this our gathering and in this year intercede for us as she did at Cana in Galilee.
We humbly ask all these through our Lord Jesus Christ your son who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, One God forever and ever. Amen.
