The Holy Father Pope Francis has elevated the Apostolic Vicariate of Bomadi to a Diocese under the Metropolitan See of Benin City and has appointed Most Rev Hyacinth Egbebo MSP, as the first Bishop of the Diocese.
The date for the Diocesan ceremonies of the erection and appointment shall be announced in due course.
