Today is d nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. We celebrate her who is blessed amongst women (Luke 1:42) and who all generations will call blessed (Luke 1:48).
She is Theotokus (the mother of God), the ark of the new covenant who is Jesus and the Almighty can deny her nothing even when it's not yet time (John 2:3-10). She is the Queen of Heaven (Rev. 12:1) and mother of all christians/Queen of all hearts (Rev. 12:17). We fulfill the prophesy of Luke 1:48 as we honour her and all who invite her into their lives like the invitation to the wedding feast at Cana will have her intercession and Jesus will continue to turn our water to wine even when the time is not ripe. We celebrate the Most beloved daughter of the Father, the admirable mother of the son and faithful spouse of the Holy Spirit.
